BASL Masterclass Series 2021

The British Association for Sport and Law is thrilled to announce a series of sport and law masterclasses offering those with an interest in sport an opportunity to upskill in key areas being addressed throughout the year. The overarching purpose of the BASL Masterclass
Series 2021 is to provide an open space for learning and knowledge sharing, enabling participants to make a real difference with the knowledge they take away.

The BASL Masterclass Series 2021 will include sessions on Gender and Sport, Integrity, Care of Others, Safeguarding, Esports and Corruption and an all important update of the WADA Anti-Doping Code.

Supported by Tactic Connect, we have lined up a fabulously knowledgeable array of speakers in their areas of expertise including Michele Verroken, Tim Naylor, Ian Smith, Richard Bush and Dr Andy Harvey. Some of the sessions are also being delivered in collaboration with sports organisations including the Esports Integrity Commission offering further insight and credibility to the information being disseminated.

Each half-day masterclass will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and participants will be expected to engage in the online learning process and participate in the break out rooms. To ensure optimum engagement, and of course value for money, we are limiting the
numbers of places available at any one masterclass.

Participants will receive an attendance certificate and a Masterclass Pack allowing them to reflect on the information given, what they have learnt during the Masterclass and further content to extend their development of knowledge around the topic.
