Stephen is an experienced commercial lawyer (in both private practice and in-house at major media companies) with wide-ranging experience advising on the acquisition and exploitation of media, sponsorship and commercial rights in the sports and media sector.

He is currently Vice President, Head of Legal & Business Affairs at beIN Media Group, responsible for the agreements related to the acquisition of major sports media rights for the beIN channels and services in 42 countries. In recent times, this has included multiple agreements for rights to (among others) the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, LaLiga and F1.

Prior to joining beIN Media Group, Stephen was Head Counsel at Sky Sports and also an associate in the TMT team at Dentons, where he trained and qualified.

Stephen has been a BASL board member since 2015.
