BASL Vice Chair & Executive Coordinator

Catherine has been involved with the British Association for Sport and Law (BASL) since 2014 and was appointed Co-Vice Chair in 2025. A Senior Associate at Brabners LLP, she advises International Federations, National Governing Bodies, elite sports clubs, and athletes on matters relating to integrity, inclusion, safeguarding, governance, disciplinary issues, and compliance with anti-doping regulations. Catherine sits on several external panels including the EFL Together Panel, Sport Resolutions National Panel, the British Basketball Federation Judicial Panel, and the Sport Liverpool Board, where she helps to deliver social impact initiatives across the Liverpool City Region by bringing major sporting events to the city. She is also an UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) Accredited Advisor and a Trustee of the National Football Museum, supporting its work to preserve football’s heritage and promote inclusion within the game.

In 2025, Catherine was recognised in the Leaders Sport Awards – Leaders Under 40 Class of 2025 for her contribution to equality and governance in sport. Through her advisory, panel, and trustee roles, she continues to play an active part in promoting integrity and inclusion across the sporting landscape.
