Caroline McGrory is Chief Legal Officer and Interim Chief Partnerships and Commercial Officer of the Cadillac Formula 1® Team, where she helped secure the team’s entry as the 11th and newest team on the Formula 1® grid in 2026. She previously served as Director of Legal Affairs at Alpine F1® Team during 2023 and spent 13 years as Director of Legal and Commercial Affairs at Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1® Team, where she built the legal department, negotiated major sponsorships, driver contracts, and the Concorde Agreement, and contributed to multiple Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships. Caroline was a key member and shareholder in the management buyout that created Brawn GP, later featured in the Emmy-winning documentary Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1® Story. Beyond F1®, she was General Counsel and Senior Leadership Team member at Leicester City Football Club from 2016 to 2019 and Chief Legal Officer and Executive Management Team member for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, helping deliver an event that hosted nearly 5,000 athletes and generated over £1.2 billion for the UK economy.
