Recognised by The Legal 500, Andrew has extensive experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. Qualifying as a solicitor in 2001, he has particular expertise in age discrimination, having acted in the well-known cases of Wall v British Compressed Air Society (Court of Appeal) and Seldon v Clarkson Wright & Jakes (Supreme Court), and in the enforcement of post-termination restrictions. His corporate practice spans media, retail, financial services, and technology, advising on day-to-day and post-employment issues, and he also represents senior executives and non-UK domiciled high net worth individuals on employment arrangements. Andrew heads the firm’s sports and entertainment group and brings specialist expertise from his time as in-house legal and commercial director of a national sports agency. He is regularly instructed by professionals and sports clubs on disciplinary and contractual disputes and lectures at Cambridge University on employment issues in sport.
