Alistair McHenry is a partner and Head of Sport at Tyr, a boutique law firm in Leeds and Manchester, where he leads the sport, decision-making, and finance litigation practices. He advises governing bodies, clubs, athletes, agents, and integrity agencies on integrity, regulatory, contractual, financial, disciplinary, and selection disputes, including acting in Pulis v Crystal Palace and representing the International Tennis Integrity Agency before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Alistair serves as Chair or Panel Member in numerous sporting arbitrations and disciplinary matters for organisations such as Sport Resolutions, UK Athletics, the Lawn Tennis Association, and Premiership Rugby, and sits on the boards of The British Association for Sport and Law and Tyr. He is the author of the injuries chapter in Football & the Law, cited in Fulham FC v Jones, and has extensive experience in complex insolvency and finance litigation, including high-profile football club insolvencies.
